Artist History loopy is the sound of melancholy copenhagen mixed with a noisy rock engine, into a strong composition of melodic poprock. the band was founded in copenhagen in 1997 with the below metioned 4 members: the norwegian lead singer leiv aasen is, with his energic song writing, the absolute hitmaker of the group. in collaboration with the danish guitarist martin "sieben" norgreen he generates the catchy guitars in loopys music. together they are a unique duo of guitar equilibrists and they both have an extraordinary inventiveness on their instrument. the drums is sharply played by the swedish hitman mathias elovsson. to back up all this and to cause harmony the band is lucky to have klaus bendix - the second dane in the band. besides his bass playing he also contributes to the music with nice samples and influences from the british shoegazing tradition.
