    Artist description
GltTcH is about the selfish desire to be heard. Combining electronics with good old fashioned alchemy, GltTcH intends to turn lead (raw idea) into gold (sound) using any means necessary. The results vary from slow dirges, to stomping industrial, to acid jazz influenced Drill & Bass. Like almost any other self respecting "artist", GltTcH refuses to make what it thinks people will like, and instead makes music itself enjoys. There is, of course, the hope that others will like it, but in the end, it comes down to creative integrity, which seems to be in severe lack these days (read: Britney Spears).

    Artist History
GltTcH started under the name Anomy, but quickly changed it's name due to people mispronouncing it or equating the band with japanese anime (which we do,in fact, all love). In 1998 a radical shift in musical style occured, when GltTcH's founder, C.A. Todd, bought several drum machines and started to take them apart to make new beats to accompany his guitar work, the live aspect then took the back seat while C.A. Todd, along with the Monk-keys and the Dead Baby crew delved into electronics will all the ardur of a mad scientist. The group recovered, evolved, and came to be what it is today: a group of tech-heads that froth at anything digital, and die for everything analog.

I love what you're doing. You have that "experemental" or "alchemical" approach to song progression, voices and effects, i think that's what's lacking in many songs(because it's easier to be safe with a formula than to experement andpossibly fail).[Malkuth] Alright, 'Use once and destroy' caught my eye the instant I loaded yourpage, and I downloaded it...and would really like to remix it.[aneurysmX] I think your music has real potential .I especially like the first song on your CD . It has real spirit.Keep up the good work , someone is bound to discover what a real talent you are. I know I have ...[littletedi1] I dig your stuff. very skinny puppy like, but definately of it's own. was just looking through the rankings and came across it.[clintwsp] What's up! I've just left your site and reviewed your production, and I must say that I was highly impressed!! Your production really sounds good and is also "awe inspiring", It's sad to see so much great talent and not a big enough resource so that every talented Artist can get a piece of that "BIG PIE CUT", but anyway I really enjoyed what I've heard..... please post me up when you create something new so that I can adore more of your work...[orgnlsnds] Feel ya, like the style..[kool007] Reviews: sixty watt bulb - by glttch: GltTcH screams out their dissatisfaction with an ideological leader to an almost church-like bell pattern, except this church has some throbbing drums pulsing from outside the stained glass windows. From the selections on this station, this song might actually be one of the only songs that has guitar, but the guitar doesn't surface until the last half of the song. Be sure to give this song time to develop. I also particularly liked the mouth drum sounds around 4:30 into the song. It's a Marilyn Manson-esque song, but GltTcH's website promises to surprise you musically at every turn. Click on their name above to visit their website and find out more. What is it about 60-watt bulbs anyway? Maybe it's that you can't use a 100-watt bulb in most outlets . . . GltTcH isn't like most outlets or bulbs--did that make sense? Expanding a metaphor always freaks me out. [Likeminded Fit Radio Station]
