Artist History
Jos Weerdmeester and Michiel Dekker bought a guitar. They learned them selves how to play the guitar and started a band called Inferior. They practised on the garret by Jos at home. They found a drummer (Emiel van den Berg) and played one time together by Jos. Because of the sound nuisance, they weren't allowed to play there once again, so from now on they practised at Popbelang. After a while the band also consisted a keyboard player, a female singer (Ruth) and a male singer (Henk). The music they made could be described as Orphanage, only without the female vocals. Ruth left the band because of different musical interests. Emiel quit and from now on Marco was the drummer. Emiel came back to play the bass. Marco didn't stay long; he quit and Emiel played the drums again. The keyboard player also left the band and was replaced by Janpaul Harms. In this formation they did one gig, without a bassist. Martijn Moes was in the audience and asked them if they needed a bassplayer, they did, so from now on Martijn joined the band. Henk left the band, and Michiel took over the vocals. In 1997 Kisrten van Veen joined the band. The band changed there name into "Eternal Conspiracy". In the winter of 1997 the band released there first demo, called "Serenades of Dark Angels". The demo sold out completely. In summer 1999 the band signed at the Dutch Happy Holochrist-label for the recording of their debut-album entitled "Dark Perversities on Funeral Grounds". Emiel left the band, and in August 1999 Arjen Hurkmans replaced him. Kirsten left the band in the beginning of 2000 and Karen ter Balkt replaced her in april. |
