Artist description
Esteban figueroa has been playing flamenco puro or the "real thing" for over 10 years across Canada.Opening for big acts such as Jeff Healey, there is no stoping him. The music is purely flamenco in nature but there are many influences including latin. Esteban performs with Flamenco Caravan in Thunder Bay Canada and will be touring Ontario and western Canda this spring and summer.
Be on the lookout for Flamenco Caravans Second CD. It is hotter than the first with new Bulerias, Rumbas, Tangos and Tangillos. People were spellbound at the 2001 Fring Festival. Be also on the lookout for live clips of the festival. |

Artist History
The inception of Esteban Figueroa with Flamenco Caravan has only occured in the past 3 years. Esteban Figueroa has been performing for over 10 years and will be for a long time.
His first professional appearance occured with Alma de Espana in Victoria, British Columbia. The company comprised of 8 flamenco dancers, 3 singers including Angel Romero, Oscar Nieto and Veronica.
The company also included guitarist Tyle van Toorn, Esteban Figueroa and his teacher & mentor Harry "Quique" Owen. The company toured western Canada and made apearances with the Victoria
Symphony Orchestra. |
