Artist description
DreadNaught(Carpe Noctem) is currently a three piece band playing original metal music. We are in the process of adding electronic/industrial/synth to our sound so come back from time to time to see if it actually happens. Right now, it's straight forward metal rock. |

Musical Influences
Way too broad a list. If it has drive and kick chances are we like it or would if we had heard about it. |

Artist History
Band has been together in its current incarnation for about three years. Guitarist and bassist ran into each other at a jam and decided they could stand being in a room with each other long enough to write and play something. Ask either of them...a significant challenge. :) Drummer and bassist work with each other. We've been working our music in around real lives and it's taken us a little longer than we'd hoped to put something together we're all comfortable enough to go public with. The takes that appear here were recorded at a local high school as part of a student/faculty music cd project and as a result show all the chacteristics of live performances. Always room for improvement of course, but we like what we hear. Feedback is welcome. |
