Artist History
Niall had recently immigrated to the US with a couple of songs and a few catchy hooks when he met Donn. They began the Busten Halter project in Donn's basement studio. With Niall's catchy Euoro-Pop hooks and Donn's all American rock guitar, they released Busten Halter's first EP "Resident Alien" and decided to make the project a live band. Donn recruited former Toxic band mate Paul to provide some raw energy to the group and soon Busten Halter was playing various live venues in the Chicagoland area. After lending their song writing talents to the still unreleased indie film "Shadowdagger", Busten Halter released their next EP "Injection" on the Indie recording label Solar Records and began playing larger area venues and clubs. Their latest release and first of this millennium, "Busten Halter's Greatest Hits - A Billion Years of Rock-N-Roll" is a 16 song CD chronicling their 16 year history in music. Busten Halter is currently working on thir next release and planning an upcoming tour of Niall's homeland Ireland. |
