Artist History
Adam Murphy has been playing for the last couple of years under the name of Abandon, with the following musicians....Dara Duane, Keith Walsh, Miles Lenihan / Cormac Dunne.Adam is a Cork-born, Galway-based, singer-songwriter who has worked in the U.K, U.S.A and Europe. He wrote the theme song ‘Night-Time in Galway’ for the TG4 documentary of the same name and has has participated in a number of IMRO showcases in the Roisín Dubh, aswell as more recently in the Maynooth 2000 Songwriters’ workshop.Various past recordings have received airplays on RTE Cork, Galway Bay FM, Mid-West Radio FM, aswell as having material covered in the Netherlands and Poland.Presently gigging in Galway, the aim is a fully produced album and touring band. |
