Artist History
Waterfly started in 1997, with Stig Rindvoll and Helene M. Ulrichsen. Helene performed the vocals and wrote some of the texts. Stig did all the rest. When Stig moved from Oslo to Jøa, Helene decided to work with her own project - making jazz/pop. Stig tried other vocalists when he needed some female voices untill 2001. Now (Mar.2001) Taina Svendsen is the "girl with the golden voice". Svein Erik Grongstad became the synth "guru" in May 2001. He has only done live stuff for WF untill now. Later he`ll take part of the composing/producing. Howard Solum started in the band as a live percussionist in August 2001. Waterfly has now a record contract for the song "Land of Love" with In.Disc Records. |
