Artist description Tesser is a seven member band. The instrumentation is primarily acoustic. Wes Robinson and Shana Blake share lead vocals. Wes is the primary songwriter as well as rhythm guitar player. Phil Carias hosts lead guitar duty, rhythm guitar, and occasional bass. Paul Rathke is a multi-instrumentalist, contributing on guitar, bass, harmonica, percussion, and background vocals. Ron Brendle, the most recent addition, is a bass monster. Dave Zeltner is their pianist as well as musical coordinator. Scott Wagstaff is their percussionist, playing a fused kit of both hand and traditional drums. Artist History Tesser was formed in 1998. The members were introduced to each other through a local music event called the Tosco Music Party. Since then, tesser has performed at many venues and festivals in the Charlotte area.
