Artist History
Denver's SILENCER have boldy established themselves as a worthy up and coming force to be reckoned with both nationally and internationally in the underground metal scene. They have recieved countless top ranked reviews from such international publications as Metal Maniacs, Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles, Pit, Rock Hard, Heavy Oder Was, Snakepit, plus countless underground fanzines and webzines for their demo debut EP Kozmos. Touring in support of Kozmos SILENCER have managed to build up a very respectable following in the southwestern U.S., regardless of the fact that their touring has been entirely self-financed, promoted and booked. In addition to Kozmos, the band also
released a limited edition live split album entitled Black Flames and Burning Worlds with Crash Inc. recording artists Serberus in late 2001. They also appear on the recent Hail to the Stonehenge Gods Black Sabbath tribute released by WW3 Music. They have also destroyed audiences live in such signature shows as Milwaukee Metalfest XV & XVI, the 2nd Annual Ultrasound Showcase, the inaugural Ragnarok Metal Festival and opening berths for such metal legends as Jag Panzer, Nevermore, Manilla Road and Savatage.
The band now offer their newest, strongest material to date on the new crushing EP Structures. SILENCER's newest material builds up higher levels of melody, speed, aggression, heaviness and concept over the existing foundation of thrash and true metal influences. SILENCER is Colorado's best candidate for heavy metal annihilation of the universe and are on the cusp of breaking out worldwide. It is advised to live by the SILENCER adage...simply put...join the ranks or be blown out of creation.
