Artist History
Javier formed a band with a friend, Carlos, in 1989; they made Electronic Music under the name 'Hypsilong' with only a Commodore 64, using many music software. In 1990 they changed their name to 'ABC'. The next year Carlos leave the band, but friendship go on. Javier followed writing songs, like Music 4 U and Alright! in 1992, Shifting in 1993, Demo in 1994 and Don't press the red button in 1995 (the favourite song he'd written). In 1996 he changed his name to 'Side Effects!', he keep writing songs, like Technoise!, High Performance, Reaction, I Love Summer!, Direct, Special... In 1997 he wrote Dedicated to you (a ballad for her girlfriend Natalia). The song Tours (let's get higher!) was written in 1997 based in a dream who Javier had.In 1998 appears a second version of Dedicated to you, named Dedicated to you too.The same year, Side Effects remixed 3 times the song Moog 5 by his friend Hernán Casella.2000 is the year of the return! The new album This side up is being finished! An album composed against the clock, the idea was to write many BRAND NEW songs in 4 or 5 months... |
