Artist History
Public Relation was formed in March of 1998. What makes this band unique from other local bands is the members' appetite to create original Reggae/Dance music. In all actuality, the members of PR had not set out to play just one style of music, as they had difficulty focusing on one particular sound. They soon found themselves drawn to the Reggae rhythm. The members of PR had not set out to play just one style of music, but to fuse some of their music influences to make the PR sound. The members of Public Relation soon realized there needed to be a catalyst to fuse all of the various styles they intended on playing. Reggae, in turn, became the common thread from which the band members could relate, with hopes for the public to relate to as well. Hence, the name of the band: Public Relation. |
