Artist description
"Live Jazz at the Crow" features a number of Jazz and Blues tracks, recorded live at "the Crow", a bar and musician's "hang-out" in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The tracks were recorded during two-weekly Jam sessions over a period of time. What you hear is a local Jazz community jamming on some Jazz and Blues progressions. Sometimes a Dutch Jazz celebrity joins in the fun as guest musician. The atmosphere at the Crow is always "hot" or "cool" depending on the tunes that are played. None of the tunes were rehearsed, what you hear is what happened. So if you are into Live Jazz, this is stuff you will dig. All tracks were recorded digitally and sound quality varies from average to excellent. |

The first "Live Jazz at the Crow" session took place in November 1999. Since that time our sessions format has flourished. They are visited well by all kinds of musicians and are great fun, both for artists and audience. |
