Artist description Little Anthony & The Truetones was organized in the month of October 1978. At the time Anthony was four years old, he was the group bass guitar player and second lead singer. We are a family group which consists of mother, father, sister, and brother. We’ve sung God’s gospel throughout many states. So many have been blessed, and still being blessed as we continue to sing praises to God’s Holy Name. We’ve performed in Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, Mississippi, Alabama, Connecticut, New York, Tennessee, and Gary, Indiana. And we’re not tired yet. This new album will be our sixth album. Little Anthony and the Truetones has performed concerts with Shirley Caesar, Gospel Keynotes, Tommy Ellison, Troy Ramey, Canton Spirituals, William Brothers, Hummingbirds, Swanee Quintets, Doc. McKinzie, Slim & The Supreme Angels, Mighty Clouds of Joy, Nightingales, and many more. Little Anthony & The Truetones also had the privilege of touring the State Capitol along with having lunch in the Capitol cafeteria in Washington, D.C. We would like to give thanks to Ike & Mary Jacobs of Sarasota, Florida, Rev. Albert Smoaks of Smoaks, South Carolina, Bro. Harry Govan of Orangeburg, South Carolina, Bro.
