Artist History
This band began on a stormy night when my van broke down on the way to a solo gig. I got a lift from these three guys who had all their musical equipment in their van, on their way to a band practice at the singer/guitar player's house (that they wanted to boot out of the band). As it turned out, they gave me and my equipment a lift to my gig, I talked the club owner into letting them accompany me and we became a band and best friends ever since. |

Group Members
All of the band member's names are being withheld at this time, though they may eventually manifest themselves in their URTH forms. Only one guy will tell you his name is Charlie Faege, and I have my doubts about that, too. |

Press Reviews
"Pop, atonalism, light opera, microtonality, jazz and rock all rub elbows like familiar pals. Textures and events forced into small spaces, creating dense and chaotic timbral lattices. These touches, and a camp sense of humor, set his music apart from most super-slick fusion."TITUS LEVI - KEYBOARD MAGAZINE 1988 "The best songs, with their sweeping theatricality and big grandiose emotion, bring to mind mid-period Roxy Music or 70's David Bowie..." STEVE PICK, ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH (on Persistence of Memory CD) 1991 " I liked the wide variety of instruments and orchestrations. Some fine lyrics, too."BILL BRUFORD - DRUMMER/PERCUSSIONIST OF YES, 1978"Never mind the production/instrumentation; that's more than adequate. These songs are very convincing."BILL BRUFORD - DRUMMER/PERCUSSIONIST OF YES, 1991"I enjoyed hearing your music." KATE BUSH 1993 *most of above predates Imaginary Themes I, II & III"I enjoyed your music. Your work shows a lot of personality and emotion and there is some great music on your CD set.You truly are a man of many talents. I at first enjoyed your graphics and then the tremendous variety of music images." JOHN DOAN(the Master of Harpguitarists) |
