Artist History
1992: Brian Zibilich & Troy Riddle (ex-drummer) hooked up at the warehouse where they worked. About 2 weeks later present guitarist Bill Millar joined. After a few good writing sessions, Mike Assunto (well known in New Orleans) joined to sing, write, & play. After a few gigs at local New Orleans clubs (Tipitina's, the Howlin' Wolf, Warehouse Cafe...etc. Mike left and was replaced by current singer Steve Zibilich (also writes and plays guitar). In 1995 while still under the name Bolt Upright, we parted ways with Troy Riddle and put the whole project on hold until the end of 1998 when we re-grouped and enlisted Joey Marceaux on drums. But that has passed and Shawn Cahill is our drummer now. Our current name is from a song written by Brian Zibilich called Living To Die. The reason for the name change is due to the fact that another band called Bolt Upright (California) is active. If any other information is needed, come to our shows and ask us in person. We're always there. |
