Artist description
Unique instrumentation and a powerful sound give The Lingo an oldschool flavor that is sometimes funky, sometimes punky and always a little sarcastic. These three lead vocalist/songwriters combine wide musical backgrounds with a modern attitude to make the Lingo one of the more talented and interesting bands to hit the scene. 3D Music is the FUTURE. |

Artist History
The Lingo has been playing for about four years, with roots as an instrumental jam/funk band reminiscent of Medeski Martin & Wood. As tensions in musical interest grew in the band, the Lingo's sound morphed into a more aggressive, vocally charged modern rock. In effort to fill the aggressive sound without guitar-power, a number of distorted keyboard and bass effects have become standard Lingo noises. |
