Shame has been creating its own brand of high energy rock combined with poignant songwriting for nearly five years. Each of the band members share a desire to create music which people of all ages can relate to and enjoy. The sincere lyrics are supported by catchy melodies and a distinct and dynamic songwriting style. These attributes have helped make Shame one of the most renowned original music acts in the area. |

Artist History
The members of Shame come from Reading, PA, and their average age is 22. They have achieved remarkable success with the release of four independent albums since 1996. Shame has performed regionally in the tri-state area of PA, MD, and DEL, and they also embarked upon a three week tour of northwestern England in the fall of 1997. In October of that same year Shame gave its first live television performance on the TV show, "12:30 Live" on WGAL-TV, Channel 8 from Lancaster, PA, performing the song "Half Awake". Amidst their travels, Shame has shared the stage with artists such as: Beth Hart, John Faye (the Caulfields), and the Badlees. Shame hopes to continue making music for many years to come and they each feel fortunate to have accomplished so much so early in their musical careers. |
