Artist description PINK TRAUMA InfoOriginally, Pink Trauma was formed early`94 but the line-up changed several times since then, so Lennert is the only original member left. Pink Trauma somehow, is a band, a project, a band project or a project band….???! We can`t really name the type of music, it`s a mixture mainly based on punk and independent, with alternative and avantgarde styles. We try to create a fusion between the feeling of the music and the topic of the lyrics. The music has a strong rhythm background with sharp and noisy guitars on top. An important part of our concept is that we are working with stress-frequencies and disharmonies. That and the weird sometimes hysterical sounding voice of Malin give us our individual note.The actual line-up is:Lennert Niemeyer – Guitar, VocalsMalin Rapien – Vocals, PercussionMatthias Jürgens – GuitarRalf Franken – BassChristian Uhlig – DrumsYet we released a demo-tape (300 copies sold), a demo CDR ( 200 copies),appeared on several tape/ CD-samplers and produced one track on a commercial CD (6000 copies). We played a lot of smaller gigs (up to 500 people) in northern germany and performed the “TV damage session” which was running on …–TV- (offener Kanal Hamburg).
