Artist History
The Brainchild of Chicago Artist Dawn La Rue, NDE was formed in Chicago in late 1993. La Rue composed and recorded the 8 song CD "Carved In Stone" with Producer Chuck Kawal in January of "94 at Chicago Trax, the home to the great industrial artists such as Ministry, Pigface, Chris Connelly, 13Mgs and more.After signing with Megadisc in Los Angeles, La Rue then trasplanted the group to L.A. in August of '95 where NDE took the Goth Scene by storm.Showcasing at the Whiskey, Roxy and the great FangClub, NDE proved a loyal fanbase. Gothic T.V. Features On SciFi & UPN, and press to include RIP Magazine and Performance caught the attention and secured a deal with Hollows Hill/TripleXXX records.The single "Anastasia" was recorded at Paramount Studios with producer Chuck Kawal and was released on the Gothic Compilation "Dim View of the Future". NDE proved to allie with L.A. Goth greats such as Rozz Williams, Christian Death,Penis Flytrap, AstroVamps, Human Drama and Gitane Demone. La Rue and NDE's last performance was at the "Opium Den" April 13th of 1999 in Los Angeles. |
