Artist description
Soaring harmony leads with a high energy rock groove characterize one of the Bay Area's most promising rock/metal bands. F.U.S.E was formed less than two years ago by bass player/lead vocalist Steve Hays. Steve's vocal style and bass playing, while reminiscent of the 80's new wave of British Heavy metal,is melded with many of today's diverse modern styles and sounds. On guitar and backing vocals is Jim Harvey. Jim's aggressive rhythm stylings fortify the backbone of the band, while his leads, whether solo or harmonies, complement and enhance F.U.S.E.'s dynamic overall sound. Kiyo Morgan fronts the guitar side of the house with his remarkably forceful and expressive playing. He has a heavy, thick rhythm style, but easily slips into blistering yet melodic leads drawing on influences from Tony Iommi to Yngwie Malmsteen, Randy Rhodes to Slash. |
