Artist description
Long-time friends and musicians (see history) reinvent their band with an acoustically-driven sound as Dreaming Tree. With their debut album Wrigleyville, singer and songwriter Rob Christenson emotionally charges the songs with down-to-earth human experiences. |

Artist History
Rob, Shawn and Matt have been playing in bands since junior high. Rob and Matt played together in high school with producer Chris Rippy. Rob and Shawn met at Texas A&M where they both majored in chemical engineering. They soon discovered a mutual love of music and joined with Matt to form the band 3 Wisemen. They gigged around College Station, Houston and Austin in the mid 1990's. After taking time off to get settled into careers (and marriages for Shawn and Matt), the group began writing music together again. With a vastly different sound than 3 Wisemen, the group decided to start over as Dreaming Tree. For the debut album Wrigleyville, Dreaming Tree had the pleasure of working with close friend Chris Rippy and his brother Stephen (both of whom have solo albums, see links). |
