Artist History In the mid-90s, Jason Herzog (formerly Jason Duke) was discussing music with his close friend Chris Simental. Herzog had long been infatuated with industrial music and deeply understood the powerful messages this genre could convey. Simental had been creating edgy electronic music since 1989 and had an ongoing desire to explore all different types of music. The two quickly realized that their interests could be combined to form a united musical entity...on that day, Dekay Republik was formed.
