Artist description
The music beds seem to naturally open a spot for Herzog's intense vocals. The content is controversial, but the delivery is so genuine it's hard not to get wrapped up in it. You don't have to agree with the band to enjoy their songs; which are, obviously, symbolic of Dekay Republik's passion for the music they make. |

Artist History
In the mid-90s, Jason Herzog (formerly Jason Duke) was discussing music with his close friend Chris Simental. Herzog had long been infatuated with industrial music and deeply understood the powerful messages this genre could convey. Simental had been creating edgy electronic music since 1989 and had an ongoing desire to explore all different types of music. The two quickly realized that their interests could be combined to form a united musical entity...on that day, Dekay Republik was formed. |

Press Reviews
"THIS IS LIKE KMFDM and PIG and that sort of industrial scene! this song was awesome, the singing was awesome! This is one of the best songs I have heard tonight! great song" - N O T H I N G, RE: "Believe, Obey, Fight""Harsh vocals and lyrics is just a small piece of what makes this song kick ass. The music is heavy for it's genre and without guitars to carry the distorted force. The drums are thundering like hell in this song." -- theglobalmuse.com <p>"Harsh vocals and lyrics is just a small piece of what makes this song kick ass.
