Artist History
One day in spring 2000 there were two boys who got bored. There was Johnny: an ordinary working class boy with no job at the moment. And there was Thomas: an ordinary working class boy with a temporary "mail man" job. The two fellows were childhood pals and were very interested in music. Johnny came up with the idea that they could use his computer to record music with. Both of the two friends had musical backgrounds, and since they had a very nice rehersal room with a decent mixer they made a song wich they recorded. The song came out pretty good and since they wrote it in the studio in just 10 minutes they got very inspired. What if we could do this live? they said...They needed a bassplayer, but in a small place like Hofors there were not many of them. They decided to start with a demo recording instead, mostly to see how people would react on the music. Not many weeks later a brand new CD-single had been made. It had three songs and the two friends were very proud of it. When the local friends had heard it, they became like "fans" of Johnny and Thomas songs, and it became obvious that a bassplayer was in need. Thomas girlfriend had a brother, David, who had played guitar all his life, and he said he wanted to start playing bass with them. After a few rehersals they were ready to play their first consert. It took place in Hofors at Folkets Hus on a small stage together with two other local bands. The three friends called themselves "Cutter", and after 25 minutes of performance they got off the stage and were pretty pleased with the concert. |
