Artist History Since working on this non-linear music project, I have only come across a handful of artists (6 including myself)who are adding music to their VRML or Virtual Reality Scenes. It is a new and unchartered territory. with it's own set of difficulties. Someday they'll be sorted out, and I'll look back and think it's all very simple in retrospect. It's really difficult to classify the attributes of 3D music into other genres. Is it World Fusion? Almost, a fusion of a virtual world with sound. Is it classical expirimental. Nothing classical about it, sure it is expirimental,but that is with any music that you organize and arrange in space be it linear or non-linear 3D space. Is it paranormal? Yes, but isn't all music paranormal. I've never met a song in the flesh. Ironically by going through the Reality genre hierchy here on mp3.com, there is still no Virtual Reality genre even as a sub-genre, and the closest sub-hierchy that comes close to describing what the music is, is "Paranormal".
