Artist History
We've gone through two guitarists, one vocalist, and numerous band names before Triple Word Score, and the current line-up, came to be. It's all been for the best though. And Chris had his hand down his pants the entire time.....Update Jan 2002: Chris has finally taken his hand out of his pants and decided to leave TWS Because of wrist problems....We Will miss Playing with him but still remain great friends. |

TRIPLE WORD SCORE
THE FIRST IN A LONG LINE OF DISASTERS
LONG BEACH RECORDS
Triple Word Score comes from Vancouver, Canada, and features Jamaal on bass and vocals, Chris Landry on drums and vocals, and Brent King on guitar and vocals. While most of the songs on the album are standard skate punk, there are four excellent songs that are more rock-oriented that I REALLY liked- "2 Ska 4 U" (quite bluesy), "649" (old school punk), "I Want U" and "Unedjumecated" (both of which are rocking). Overall excellent vocals throughout also made this a worthwhile listen. If you like bands such as Pennywise, Chixdiggit, Face to Face and Against All Authority- some of the band's major influences- you'll probably like this. My personal wish is that the guys write more songs like the four I mentioned above.
