Press Reviews
"When Tim Balfe’s album arrived at our offices for review, It shone out from the dozens of contemporary Christian albums we receive every month. It is probably the most significant release by a Catholic artist in the 90’s. Why? He has a superb voice, his songs are mature, intelligent, beautifully written and thought provoking, the playing is superb and the album has been faultlessly produced. Style wise, there are shades of Sting, Simply Red and Chris Rea. If you are among the thousands of people yearning for quality contemporary Christian music we are delighted to tell you its here! Do not let this recording pass you by. Martin Johnson, Chairman RCG Recordings, January 1997. |
