Artist History the lousy autumn 1986 in Reutlingen, South Germany, seemed to be just right to puke a thing like Sumpfpaepste into the world. first being a side-project of the legendary hardcoreband Genossen, Sumpfpaepste soon developped to a real band, ready to flood the world with its products. the sound became punkish and poppish, with beat and melody, heart and soul: PunkROCK!!!now Sumpfpaepste appeared on several international compilations, released their first Lp "See what it is" (We Bite / SPV) and toured through half of Europe (Germany, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Sweden). Sumpfpaepste is a appealing liveact, always ready to party with the whole auditory.
