Artist History
Born in New York and now based in Los Angeles, Amos has earned a nationwide following among fans and journalists. Nominated for a 2001 LA Weekly Music Award (alongside Macy Gray and Jill Scott), Amos is well familiar to listeners of Morning Becomes Eclectic on KCRW-FM Santa Monica, among other tastemaking radio programs in the U.S. and around the world. His performance at the 2001 South By Southwest Music Conference in Austin, Texas foreshadowed the fervent, deeply personal tone of his new In Between. |
