Musical Influences Biggie, Jay-Z, Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick, O.C., Big Boi, Tash, Mos Def, Common, Black Thought, Ghost Face, Redman, Prodigy, Big Pun, KRS-1,Big L, Sauce Money..........there's a lot more but those have to be the most influential because they easliy came to mind.

Artist History Seissmatic, better known as Steve Sims has a unique style and flow. You could credit his individuality to the way he grew up. Born in Englewood, New Jeruze on October 9th, 1978 (if you want to know what time then you're trying to know too much) he traveled back and forth from his mom to his father all his life. His father resides in Toccoa, Georgia (Big shoutout to all my Sage St. cats)......a small town two hours north of Atlanta. So when the question arises "How come this cat doesn't sound like anyone ?", one can only look into his past and how he was brought up to find the answer. He currently resides in Rhode Island (where I've been politikin' for the past two years now), a small state. Providence hold's a pretty decent underground hip hop scene, a lot of talented cats are in little Rhody........just yet to be found. With little under his belt to add to his resume Seiss is still a pretty polished emcee. A couple of performances at the Black Rep (a local facility that hold's open mic on Friday nights), a two song appearence on a KJC mixtape (a local dj from Kingstown, RI) and a three week reign as Emcee Battle Champion on Hot 106.3 last year is all as of yet. Expect to see this cat sometime in the future because his drive and determination are just as strong as his love for Hip Hop.
