Artist History
Lost in Place is the personal music project of R.M. Ramlow. Formed in 1994 and named subsequently, the project has resulted in numerous independent releases... Born in 1979, R has been creating music since an early age, and his experience with piano, keyboards, & synthesizers will soon span nearly two decades. His musical atmospheres are a result of both diverse influences aquired over the years and his own unique melodies & full harmonies... The result? An intricate, yet surprisingly danceable network of sounds, textures, and subliminal messages forcing you to buy his CD's. Enjoy the music (that's an order!), and thank you for your support.

R did not have a particularly disturbing childhood, exceptionally abusive parents, or any past history of institutionally certified insanity to excuse him from his alien state of mind. He lives in the U.S., in the state of Wisconsin, near the city of Milwaukee, and plans to make his career in performing & recording his music. |

Press Reviews
"the sound would almost be too complex, if your songwriting weren't so damn good." - Greg Corcoran of DIGITAL DECAY
"'He has a very powerful and emotive vocal style that blends well with the gothic-sounding synths' ... 'The songwriting is very good. I could hear this song in my head with just acoustic guitar and vocals and it would still be good. It doesn't rely on the flash of electronics to give it substance' ... 'to sum it up - Great writing, great voice'" - GodsOfMusic.com
"'Been listening to your Lost In Place CD [you] sent, and enjoying it. Nice song structures and formulas. Definitely a good thing for the main buying market.' ... 'good use of your resources as well as your ear for the production.' ... 'Impressed on the programming.' ... 'good attention to each element of the song, including the placement of the sound.' ... 'emotion expressed can be felt. Always a plus! - One of the main things that stick out for me.' ... 'I'm confident in the potential to get it somewhere.' ... 'I rarely come across material I feel a vibe with as this.'" - Romell Regulacion of RAZED IN BLACK |
