Artist description Interferenz InfoInterferenz is a studio based industrial/avantgarde project. Formed 1996. Two years later they released the self-produced CD “Gier” (Greed). The people who are involved change from track to track, the only steady member is Lennert. He is doing most of the recording, sampling, programming and arranging. Interferenz don`t use any synthesizers, keyboards or sampling-CDs, every piece of sound is self made. Even the manipulation of the sounds is made within the rule that you can hear at least a bit of the original sample. We work close to reality. We usually don`t play live because it is too difficult to carry all the stuff we are using to another place. We only played 5 gigs yet, half playback- and that really is a stupid thing. Nobody wants to see somebody turning on a DAT-machine….We can`t say much about the future of the project. Sure is that we will carry on making music but maybe in a different direction?
