Artist History
After about 10 years of being up and doing in the russian Rock scene, S. Sterch was looking for something new. She didn't want a band with firm members, so she founded project "Evlalia" to begin of the 90s. In 1996, in Switzerland she met the german musician and producer Kay Stoeffler, who produced her debut album "Skazki v Polnoch". Now she is working on a new acoustic album (only vocals + guitar). |

Press Reviews
AARON PROCTOR (Computer 153): I really dig Crystal...it's pretty neat. Something I would definately consider buying :-) Good to hear good stuff coming out from your part of the world :-) JAMES LEE STANLEY: I'm listening to your cut right now (Menia Nelsia Ymet). Big bass, nice guitars. The effect you chose for the vocal is a little distracting to me. It seems to distance the vocalist from the track and from me. But the melody has a nice folky quality about it. I'm about half way thru and I'm feeling that some texture should change by now, more than just dropping everything out but the acoustic guitars. Tho this is a nice change, I think a musical release would be best. Still a good effort and as you know, I have no idea what the song is about, so it's difficult for me to tell if you are actually serving the song and the lyric, but I suspect you are. Finally you let that solo loose. I could have used that after the second chorus. |
