Press Reviews
From the K.C. Rock Review By Fast Eddie Everybody's X came out of the gate at full speed. From start to finish this was a very professional show that demanded attention and judging by the awesome response they got from the crowd it seemed that Everybody's X could do no wrong. Everybody's X reminded me of the power melody bands of the late 80's and early 90's. Once the hook was set with the verse, you were then reeled in with chorus's so big you expected any time to hear "FE FI FO FUM." In stride with these "power melodies" as I call them, was the lead guitar which complimented the melody more than just show off, and thunderous drums that were as cool to watch being played as they were to listen to. A few of the songs in the set had very simple, three chord, but very aggressive, almost punk/thrash sound to them. Everybody's X did an excellent job on these songs and they jammed. 1 or 2 of the songs had very little vocals, the guys just played their instruments like they were pissed at them. I did not get the titles of these songs but I liked them the best. In a nutshell: If you like a band who has not forgot the good things that the late 80's and early 90's heavy metal bands left us, then you will like Everybody's X. aggressive music that has not forgotten the art of melody and a good stage show is what you can expect from Everybody's X. This band does what it does very well. |
