Press Reviews
Out of the San Fernando Valley and with interest all ready from Onset records in Orange County comes Destry Blues. I got the first demo recordings of this band. 5 songs so far. Just enough to make you want more...actually I would like more. With the usage of the harmonica, drums, bass and guitar and having vocals sounding like Steve Forbert and Bob Dylan with some southern tinges come forward in the very soft folk pop sound. The song Jami would make a good single. For more info contact them at destryblues@hotmail.com.--Jonathan D. Wright, Highwire Daze Magazine, April 2000 |
