Artist description
Dame Station is a Northfield based trio of talented women, who were finalists at the 1999 Lilith Fair talent contest. With the alluring and powerful vocals of PAULINE SHUSTER and PAMELA JEAN ROTH combined with the John Denver trained acoustic guitar talents of LUCY SWEITZER, Dame Station performances are "fresh and professional with a style and taste that is absolutely captivating." Dame Station has just released Not One of Many, a collaborative mixture of songs presenting quality music and lyrics that show an amazing songwriting talent. Their original music encompasses styles from new country rock to heart-stopping ballads while their compelling live performances include a variety of genres that leave the audience wanting more. Dame Station performs as a trio or with a full band of talented musicians. They have appeared at Rib Fest, Tree Frog Music Festival, Taste of Minnesota and are a favorite at corporate events and clubs. Make no mistake, this is a group of women who have songwriting talent and a goal to have their music heard. |

Artist History
We've been together for 2 years and writing for one. We began by performing live and loved working together and the audiences loved to listen. We discovered our songwriting talent took off when we collaborated. So we kept on and last spring, by popular demand, put our tunes down on a CD. We continue to write and perform. |
