Artist description
Formed in March of 2000, Cut Monkey is the brainchild of Steve Marker and Chris Morse who, sick of band politics, decided to take a fresh approach and go it alone. Cut Monkey has developed a unique eclectic approach, fusing styles from funk, electronica, metal, lo fi and bass and drums. Priding themselves on the 'all samples are OURS' philosophy, Cut Monkey has moulded into a strange and ugly beast. Cut Monkey retains complete creative control over everything that they do, from playing all the instruments, down to pressing the CD, a level of creative control that ensures the listener is going to be suprised. |
