Artist History Walter Sutton is a writer, speaker, and consultant who lives in Seattle WA. He has written "Leap of Strength" (Silver Lake Publishing) which frames his observations and theories about the job of being a Chief Executive Officer and Entrepreneur. Other writing projects include "A Company of One" a non fiction book about independent contractors and "Glimmer Land" an entrepreneurial fairy tale, as well as a novel, several short stories and articles. Over a period of 23 years, Sutton founded, owned and grew and sold four companies. He was a TEC member for the last 6 years of this ownership career and credits TEC with many positive results including helping him see that he enjoys studying and writing about businesses more than he likes founding and running them. He was also a TEC Chair in Vancouver BC for three years before returning, full circle, to Seattle where he now lives with his artist wife.
