Artist description I love music, I live with it in everything I do, but I choose not to take my compositions to a public forum. I find a great deal of enjoyment in the process of recording music. Writing of the music often times takes place while travelling and then the challenge of taking it from an acoustic guitar to the drums/bass/guit format. I have a few hardy friends who enjoy listening and sometimes get what I'm up to, and this is very rewarding. This is the first time my music has gone to a place where I have no control over who or what listens to it, and I'm very pleased for this opportunity.

Music Style bits of rock, informed by jazz, sprinklings of prog, some doodling and noodling, songs about life, travelling and the human condition

Musical Influences guitar - Fripp, Abercrombie drums - Bruford, DeJohnette bass - a constant struggle voice - a distracting nuisance, but these are not always apparent on our recordings.

Similar Artists try as we do, people say they can hear Pink Floyd and Lenny Kravitz. I guess if they hear Kravitz, that means they hear most substantial 70's guys going.

Artist History Well, I started playing the drums at 5 years old, the guitar at 12. While I've always loved these instruments, I've never really been able to knuckle down to a full time pursuit and mastery. I'm quite content to be at a stage where I can extract what songs I have out of my head and communicate effectively with these instruments. I purchased the 8-track in 1995 and went from there. The great competition to all this has been developing a career, which is currently going nowhere, but, this this is of little concern as music is always there and I will continue to do what I can with what I've got. That is my motto. It also doesn't help that I live in a hick town where originality has few outlets, but that's another story.
