Artist History
My achevement to make music pretty much started when I was 4 years old listening to one of my fathers old records. This was back in 1984.The tune that I heard was a soulfull tune filled with metallic voices, and it just grabbed me, and since then I have allways been looking for sounds or tunes that can really get me buzzed.During the late 80's I experienced the Max Mix tapes and alot of Rap,breakdance wasn't far behind either.During 1987 (I think it was 87 atleast) Kevin Saunderson came out with a tune called Inner City, wich once again gave me a buzz. This track was so different from any other track that I had heard, because it had the feeling about giving a new experience that no other track could give at the moment.During this time I also listened alot to De La soul. It took a few years more before I found the feeling of finding something new and fresh again, and it came with the era of Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Faith no more(Excellent band), Nirvana, Guns'n Roses, Stone Temple Pilots and more. They had their own charactheristics that was really different from anything else during that period that I had heard.(1990 to early 93)Then in 93 I heard The Prodigys Out of space wich of course is excellent withholding a sample from Max Romeo's and Lee Perrys "Chase the devil". From there on I I've kept listening to the Prodigy ever since, and alot of other electronical bands. My influences has allways been from practically everything I hear, even crap. |
