Artist description
We're a rising Jazz Quintet that plays a variety of styles, including standard swing numbers, bossa's, blues and funk songs. The band combines a unique mix of open and traditional jazz soloing with upbeat and often funk influences to give a pop appeal, but at the same time maintiaining a consitency in genre that strives to deliver as accurate an interpretation as possible. The band does mostly covers, and features 2 saxes (alto and tenor), electric bass, drums and piano/keyboard. The variety of musical interests in the band enable us to try new things and help build a diverse repetoire from more cool 'background' music to upfront funk and fusion numbers. |
