Artist History
Established in 1998 as an acoustic two piece, Rum and Coke threw together a last minuet set of songs destined to become clasics. With the intention to entertain drunkin' party goers celebrating Aimee's birthday: "one of the lovely ladies" And the seeing off of two dear buds Ed and Ross-"the lad": Rum and Coke played five songs based on a Punk additude with comical intralude Rum and Coke played their set three time befor cutting the cake and wishing bonvoyage. Yet after the party the two guys that made it all possabile were not satisfied. They need to be louder! And they needed a drumer. To their surprize upon Ed's return from Canada, the boys of Rum and Coke "Jimmy Rum"(gutiar) & "Johnny Coke"(bass) gladly accepted the offer from Ed to play drums, with on e condiction. Befor taking the stage Ed will have to metamorphaize into "Fred Johnson" (the bitch boy drummer) thus making him the final member of Rum and Coke. Unfortunatly, soon after, Fred left the band and Rum and Coke went through 6 months of tryouts for a new drummer. Finnaly, after emoploying six drummers, they finnaly settled on one, Tijunga Steve. With the new lineup in place, the boys are ready to once again rule the southland, so look for us. |
