Add melody and you get some very powerful radio friendly hooks! Owing nods to the likes of At the Drive In, Hum and Drive Like Jehu, NEWS AT NINE strives to create their OWN sound. The band stays true to their influences and plays energetic guitar rock, but in a way that is fresh and new.

Artist History Formed in May 2000, News at Nines prime objective was to create something new and fresh to help give life to the boring and uninventive "emo" genre. With an upcoming ep release and midwest/east coast tour in the early spring, look for News at Nine to rock a city near you! The recent signing with the Hamptons Ent. Group will only heighten the bands base.****UPDATE**** News at Nine has a new lineup! The former bassist and drummer have been fired due to personal conflicts on the last tour.
