Artist History John Ryan fought in the Royal Irish Army against the forces of Napoleon in the Battle of Waterloo. After suffering a crippling injury in battle, he was awarded several acres of land in Canada. One hundred seventy-five years later, his young great-great-great-grandson becomes heir to the long dead soldier's musket. Within the next ten years, John's descendent becomes a devoted pascifist and guitar player.
