Artist History
Formed in early 2000, this band has grown from an industrial rock band into something completely new. They have defined a new genre based on both quiet and loud sounds. using complex solos, rythmic bass grooves, and percussion that make your mind swim Hangman's Joke has risen to the top of their local scene. They started out playing at a local show called Uproar 2000. After making a few changes and redefining their sound they played at a local battle of the bands. Next they moved on to playing their own gigs. On July 18th of 2001 they played in a park for well over 100 people at a concert they arranged with another local band called "Deadwood." They have become strong members of their local scene and also have a fan base on the internet (due to the services of mp3.com). At the beginning of August Hangman's Joke breached the 500 listener milestone and they continue to be the most listened to band in their region. |
