Artist description
bFi is a band that started playing old punk, new wave and alternative (god I hate that term) covers. We eventualy found a sound that was our own. You will have to listen to decide what that sound is... keep in mind that music is open to interpretation so what ever you get out of it is entirely your own. There are traces of indie rock and ska that are most apparent. We sincerely hope you enjoy our music and would love it if you would contact us with you opinions (good or bad). Please contact at visk@home.com |

You could compare bFi to any number of bands, that is a personal thing. We have always felt that you can get and take anything from all music, so to say we sound like anyone else would be silly. |

Artist History
bFi was formed in 1991, when we were all in or finishing high school. It was designed to fill a saturday afternoon with jackassery (thats a bFi word) As the band grew we became a family and adopted a certain seriousness, I mean that in the sense that we would practice and try to write new material and even try to get a gig or two. This led the band in forward motion and we made an album. It was titled "in between J's". Unfortunately it was never released; we all became very busy with lives and futures. Most members finished thier degrees and are looking for careers or are working on masters degrees at the moment. But all this has not changed the fact that we are family and will always be a band, we have fond (and not so fond) memories and we now wish to share that part of our musical lives with all who are interested. There is still the distinct possibility of the album being released, provided we get positive feedback from you the listener. So have a listen and send us an email, if we do release the album you will all be notified and given first opportunity to indulge in the zany world of bFi. Thank you very much. |
