I don't know what it is about trance acts from Sweden, but I have to say that I don't really think I have heard a bad one yet. Aura - The Source Of Trance, is no different. They are by far one of the best trance producers on MP3.com. I would definitely place them in the ranks of Trance[]Control, Phero, Nexxus (Nordlicht), PPK and 303 Infinity. Aura produces expertly crafted melodic and progressive trance tracks, with a little goa and psytrance thrown in for flavor."You" is put simply, a masterpiece of progressive/melodic trance producing. A heart pumping beat pounds through the track while the synths progress to a peaking frenzy. Add some melodic piano lines and some vocal samples in all the right places and you have yourself one hell of a track. This is by far the best track that Aura has produced to date (thats my humble opinion of course). It won't be long until you hear this track being spun by the world's top DJ's.Aura has out does themselves again with "Gone Tomorrow". This track is what melodic trance is all about. From beginning to end it has the feeling of a "Robert Miles" style trance track. The Pianos and synths create an emotional atmosphere that absorbs the listener into the track. It is full of great breaks/builds, powerful synth and piano lines and of course the classic euro bass line. If there were a 1 to 10 scale for rating songs, I would give "Gone Tomorrow" an 11.If you get the time, you must hear Aura - The Source Of Trance. These are my listening recommendations: "You", "Gone Tomorrow", "Destination Skyline", "Hold My hand" and "Angel".Reviewd by DJ Infinity - Vice President, FusionRecords.net
