Artist description
Phil Redmon likes to experiment with sound. He has been playing guitar for 20 years.
He has been playing the 4 track for nearly 10 years. He has been playing the computer for 3 years.
He is still saddled with a 10 year old bbs handle based on a nom-de-plume of one Dandy Don Simpson, creator of Megaton Man.
Heather Redmon has been playing the bass guitar for three and a half years. She performed in nearly all of the swanks' Los Angeles area shows under the stage name "Zoey Smut" (reportedly to signify marriage to Vlad)

Artist History
"Vlad Smut and the Swanks" has become a blanket name for the majority of Phil Redmon's musical projects,
the most popular of which being the live act, a rock trio fueled by alcohol. The remaining members are currently girding for a cross country move to minnesota.
Phil has continued his sonic dabblings, delving deep in to the fundamentals of sound, producing outcomes unsuited for general release under the swanks' umbrella.
