Artist description
Vibe Merchant is a mix of a little bit of everything. One song can sound like old Pink Floyd, the next is borderline metal. The influences of the band members vary greatly. Aaron is a classic, alternative, and psychedelic rock guy. He also digs folk music. Ken is a funk and blues freak. Brian loves adrenaline rock, the stuff that makes you want to drive really fast. John's biggest influence is metal. He's a big Slayer fan ....and he can play it too. |

Artist History
Vibe Merchant is a Chapel Hill based rock band which has been steadily building a following in the area over the past year. The band was formed when Aaron got together with jammin' buddy Brian after college and decided to make a serious band effort. They bumped into Ken, one of the best undiscovered bass players on the planet. The chemistry was there from the start, so he decided to join. Current drummer John is a UNC music school prodigy who can tear up anything from jazz to metal. His skills aren't presented on our current album, though. The result of this combination is a band that can go from slow, melodic epics to ass-kickin' rock fury at the blink of an eye. |
