Artist description
Tartex is a AgitProp-Weltschmerz-Band. At the moment it lacks the the vocal parts. But I'll get them soon and they'll be included on my second CD, which is going to follow the classic song structure on most tracks.I have real problems choosing the genre for every song.If you think you know better, please mail me where the songs in your opinion would really fit. |

don't know, don't care... Ok, some people think I have things in common with Atari Teenage Riot. I'd like to sound like Trans Am, but I didn't even knew them, when I recorded my CD. |

Artist History
Started in spring '99 the tracks from "Das Gewicht des Boesen" include my first experiments in electronic music. 3 tracks (Surfen, Verbindungen (ungeliebt) and Flucht) really hit the MP3-charts with a #1 rank in their genre. Now I am working on my second CD which is going to be less spontaneous and more planned. I didn't load up anything for more than one year now. I spend my time doing other things. But wait for the glorious return of Tartex... |

Press Reviews
"From Austria comes grinding, minimal, low-tech beats and distorted tones. If you slowed down a Digital Hardcore release and removed the vocals, you might have Tartex." listen.com"While Tartex has been sold, our information indicates that this vegetarian paté is still made at Nestlé's Dyna factory. Our German partner organisation has contacted the company now owning Tartex to ask them if and when manufacture will be moved. Until then, we understand Nestlé continues to profit from this product." You know what I mean. (Tartex) |
